Music Teachers
Heather Hruska - Master Teacher I have been teaching music since 1996. I teach general music at school, theatre and accompany for churches and school choirs. I enjoy playing and singing for weddings, and other events. I taught in the Chicagoland area before moving to Charlotte in 2009. My main instruments are Piano & Voice. Besides music, I enjoy outdoor adventures. I love to be on the lake on my paddleboard or hiking with my dog, Bella. I enjoy mentoring new teachers and it is a joy to share my passion with others in teaching music to all ages. I love seeing students grow in their learning, and hearing their talent develop.
Hannah Koruschak - Master Teacher
I embarked on my journey in piano at the age of 7, a pursuit that has since become my enduring passion. With a Bachelor's degree and two Master's degrees in Piano Performance, I am deeply committed to the art form. Specializing in classical music, I find great fulfillment in both performing and imparting my expertise through teaching, an endeavor I have diligently pursued for the past 6 years, catering to students of all ages and proficiency levels. Kaitlyn Tobin - Associate Teacher I have taught piano lessons for this studio since 2022. I also have experience in woodwinds, brass, and percussion. I attend UNC Chapel Hill to Majoring in Music. From there, I'll be able to continue teaching virtual lessons, in addition to in-person summer lessons. I look forward to meeting you all! |
Michael Lanier - Master TeacherI love all stringed instruments. My main instruments are banjo, guitar, ukulele, upright bass, and mandolin (as well as a few other instruments) and I'm able to teach all of those!
I also teach beginner piano. I have been playing music nearly my whole life and love sharing it with others! I have a bachelor's degree in music and a master's degree in music education. I teach music (general, choir & band) at a local school during the day and lessons in the evenings. I have been teaching music since 2014 to all ages, and I'm always excited to show others the joys of making music! Ruby Baker - Associate Teacher
I am a Senior in High School, and as I approach college, my main interest of study is Environmental Studies. I have been teaching for HD Melodies since 2022, and have played piano since the second grade. Ms. Heather has taught me for 5 years in which I have participated in recitals, playing classes, and piano festivals. Along with piano, one of my hobbies is horseback riding, where I also teach equestrian lessons. I hope to have the opportunity to help people reach their piano goals through lessons at my home studio. Kaylee Geolingo - Associate Teacher I am currently a student at Cox Mill High School. I have been playing piano for 8 years under Ms. Heather, and have experienced accompanying choirs since 2022. In addition to playing piano, I like to study chemistry, play volleyball, and listen to music in my free time! I am looking forward to spreading the joy of music and learning through piano lessons!
